Thanks guys for the info, I'm in the process of getting a new bearing from NeedsWings now...and yeah...I swore I had purchased one in the group buy, but it is nowhere to be found.
The problem right now is I have that Code 3 Pulley. I do have a stock pulley WITH a new bearing, but I don't really want to walk up to my dealership and show them the difference between the two....
...it's so subtle until you have them side by side.
You can tell the idler pulley is shot from the noise/video, or just from the fact that it is going to fail eventually...?
i use a mechanics stethoscope and check all my idlers. thats how i found them going bad. i went thru 3 idlers in 1 yr. the psk eliminated all the worries. bunches of threads on the bearings on mbworld
