There's plenty to be done before performance mods. Invest in a Meguiar claybar kit and detail it end to end. Remove the rims and clean/polish them inside and out. Lay on 4-5 coats of good wax. Work a good leather cleaner into the seat. Open the hood and start cleaning and armor-alling. You will learn every square inch of the vehicle and learn to love it. None of this will cost very much and you will be amazed at the difference in an older, higher mileage car. Have fun...and welcome to the forum.
