Drinking and driving
I was driving home after a darts night at the legion and I got pulled over in a R.I.D.E*. program yesterday.
The officer said he smelt alcohol in the car.
'Not me officer, it's my passenger'.
'Step out of the car sir'.
'Blow into here please'.
Big puff into meter.
'Oh, zero' he said with a disappointed look.
'As I said officer, it's my passenger'.
'Have a good night sir'
It surprised me that there was no trace in my breath.
I'd had a couple of single malts three hours earlier and followed that with soft drinks. How long does it take to get two shots of Scotch out your system?
