Kane, she just mentioned this over the Thanksgiving weekend when she and the kids were here, but only because I asked how the car was doing, since it's not her daily car. So leaving it alone will be easy. I do need to ask her to do that, though.

I think I have the radio removal tools already (I have a '97 MB). And I found a thread showing where the amp is, so we'll see what we see next weekend when we drive the 5 hours for grandson's b'day party.
