His wife had left a light on, or something, so battery was down, and needed jumping. She jumped it backwards. In her defense, she said the red plastic post cover was on the Neg post instead of the Pos. After the smoke and sparks cleared, she realized what was wrong, and then jumped it okay. However, the radio will turn on, but now there's no sound. So far, that's all she's found wrong, but I can imagine there's more.
Possible reasons for no sound ?

Question for you --- Does the unit turn on and is the word "CHRYSLER" displayed? If so, it may not be a fuse or anything else. It may just be the dreaded gremlin that causes these radios to stop playing intermittently. Tell her to push the OPT button and cycle through all the screens. Then make sure the radio is off --- and turn the car off --- then turn it back on and see if the radio plays.
