I have the acylic version which is backlit in Blue on a white roadster; Looks fantastic. I bought mine out of Texas and I was very pleased. You can install it yourself in 25 to 40 minutes. I think they would do something custom (Gator Face) if you wanted it.
You can tie them into the brake lights and you can run them on a variable current (potentiometer--Sp?); which allows you to vary the current. That is what I wish I would have done--- at night it gets a little bright in the cabin.
