As far as I can tell they're usually within .2 seconds. A car with equal horsepower and a 500lbs disadvantage couldn't possibly run almost the exact same times unless in this case it was pushing very close to 400. I of course haven't driven one and base it on math using power to weight ratios.
Edmunds pull a 4.8 0-60 and 13.3 quarter, you're telling me that's possible with 500 more lbs and the same power? Also they were shocked since based on the ratings from BMW it should have only been capable of a 5.5 second 0-60.
Mag averages are between 13.3-13.7. So its somewhere in there. While i do agree they are underrated ( ALOT of cars are) the manual transmission has a lot to do with their stock quarter mile times. Which is why u see them running decent times for the hp they are advertised to have. Think about it if the srt-6 was a 6 speed one could easily knock of 2 or 3 tenths in the quarter mile compared to 5 speed auto. My celica gts ran 14.5's and was a 6 speed. The auto version would never even get into the 15's stock. Same weight and hp. Gearing can make a world of difference.
