Be that as it may, I have hit a road block in 'model" making. My impatience got the best of me and I have decided to put it away for a while, before I totally screw it up. I'm just happy that I got the nerve to cut down the coupe and rough shape the rear end of the car. The rear needs to be filled and sanded down smooth before finishing. I plan to buy a box of generic macaroni and cheese, and find a couple of macaroni noodles to use for the faux roll bars. That is if I get that far. Maybe some cold wintry snowy nite, I'll get back to it. We'll see .......
BTW .... the pics with the "whale" tail on the rear. This was just placed on the car to see what it would look like. Made it quickly from a black plastic dinner knife. May not be on the car when and if, it gets finished.
I posted this thread in hopes that it might inspire some other people to try the roadster conversion on a model. I'm sure that if 10 of us were to do it, 9 of them would be better then mine.
Well I finished it ..... it's not perfect, but the best I could do with my "old" eyes and impatience. LOL Hope the pics appear..... Obviously they're a little out of focus but what the heck. What do you think? I'm sure there are expert "modelers" here that have done this before, let's see em!
