The quick answer (IMHO) is that if this is a cover for a garaged XF, then a cheapie (~$40) from WalMart does the trick -- I've been using them for 6 years and they have no padding so no lint. If the cover is for outside use, you want a fitted cover so it does not flap and allow debris underneath to scratch the vehicle. There are both oem and aftermarket fitted covers available (google is your buddy) but expect to pay $180>.
I agree. I purchased a cheepie from Wally World for 40 bucks or so that is for garage use. Made of Typar like material that leaves no lint on the roof. Fits the xfire perfectly.
