Sticking stuff on your paint may be OK for a while but leave it on too long until it looks shabby or you are bored with it, will leave a darker shade of paint underneath that you cannot get out. That is one reason I remove dealers stickers as soon as I can. Even stickers on black leaves a mark, but lighter colors are much worse.
If you think you can buff it out you would be wrong, especially under clear coat.
