Very true - the Crossfire, like the Prowler was never meant to be a "mass production" car. It wasn't advertised very heavily as with the Prowler (or the Viper) because they are/were limited production vehicles. Obviously the Prowler and the Viper are more limited then the Crossfire - but still deemed limited production in comparison to the 300/C, Magnum, Charger, Jeep(s), Stratus, Neon, etc, etc.

Sales definitely did not take off like they anticipated they would as seen with the Prowler however, and since there are so many Crossfires sitting on lots (average is ~366 days) it's only logical to call an end to production...(If there was even a plan to keep producing them more than 3 years in the first place).
