I haven't done this mod but from what I've read the TB coupled with a quality CAI (I believe the NeedsWings is the only quality CAI for the x-fire) will give you a nice boost...maybe 5 to 10 hp. (?). TB's are very easy to install. Usually 2 or four bolts depending on the engine.
