In those days dealers used to screw their dealership labels on to your trunk, if your mad about license plate screws in your bumper how po'd would you be with that?
Most of these ornaments were white metal die castings that the plating blistered up on in a year or so. They looked nice when new though.
There are actual collectors for those dealer plates....I hated it when the stick those things on there...first thing that goes....my dealer ask me once why I was peeling it off before I left....and I told him I didn't advertise for nothing....he just laughed, every car I bought after that from him, had no advertisement...
