I know what you mean Doc. There is a really clean, stock looking 68-69 Camaro in dark metallic blue at our Cruise in. Its like one of the old Yenko Camaro's, pie pan hubcaps, and under the hood a 454.
Well they have just gotten another Cobra in. This one is in my price range but I haven't seen the car yet, know very little about it, low miles. I hear it has FI which leads me to believe its a Mustang donor type of car. Not sure til I see it though. So hopefully I'll go over at lunch, more later.

Well a follow up - It is a Factory 5 car. So I'm not too excited, they say it was professionally built, I'll see what the documentation is. It's trophy blue??? never heard of the color. Peter Brock built the engine in the car, that is a plus. So I'll go over and look at the car. It doesn't sound like its something I'm interested in.
