My guess is someone added this cutoff switch to use when in storage, or thinking that it would make the car harder to steal. If you get the car ... get rid of the switch! Our cars do not react nicely to removing current to all the computors and sensors we have.
To use this to hide a current draw, would entail having a lot of gizmos and lights come on at every start up. Altho, someone might have done this that way, the chance is probably .00000001%. Have fun !!!!!
