Default Re: New owner checking in

I am new, but pretty certain that far more Xfires have been built than the SRT-4 (maybe twice as many). The SRT-4 was a three year run and I doubt if they hit 20,000 - 25,000 units. However, the aftermarket has exploded with almost anything you could want. Even mother MOPAR has a tremendous selection of parts that can put you through the 1/4 mile at almost 130 mph and a top speed of 175 mph. All out of the lowly 2.4 turbo 4 banger. I think Chrysler exec's don't know what to think about a performance oriented market unlike the Dodge side which is built on the performance aspect. The SRT-6 may be the initial tie to bring MOPAR Performance over to the Chrysler side of the house. I had around $4K in all MOPAR Performance items on my SRT-4, and I also would prefer to stay with MOPAR Performance if they get off the stick. I know Flight Systems who performs the magic on the SRT-4 ECU's could do the same on the Xfire if given the chance. All anyone needs is the authority from DCX giving them access to the codes.
