Recently on the Speed Channels "Battle of the Super Cars" they pitted a 2010 SL55 AMG against a 2010 Cadillac CTS V. After they put the cars through various tests (road course, 0 to 100 to 0 and 0 to 60), the CTS V won out overall. Since the SRT 6 is lighter than the CTS V there might be an edge, but it will not be easy.
Crossfire(with added 100lbs for s/c v8) is 1,200lbs lighter than a SL55 AMG and 900lbs lighter than the CTS V..............he will have no problem putting either car in their place*.
*as long as the M-B and/or CTS V is stock
