Personally, I believe a good synthetic (Mobil1 0W-40) is key as these engines run hot. Look through the manual -- there is not much regular maintenance. Have your battery tested (in the states, we have auto parts stores that do it for free) and consider rotating your tires (same axle, side to side) to prolong their already brief life. Otherwise keep your ears open and know what it sounds like when running right, so you can detect anything unusual that could indicate there is a problem.
