Where did you buy that boot?
How did you get the boot to fit onto the shifter **** so that it does not slide down?

Thanks, the boot was purchased through Shiftstyle.com
Mike and myself got them the template for the XF, so all you do is go to the website and select your options, they have tons including different custom stitching, unique materials, and a palatte of colors.
The boot will come set up to work with a standard XF shift ****, and this is where I had to get creative to make it work with this momo. On the underside of the momo, there is a nut that turns around the shaft, allowing you to tighten the boot material to the ****'s bottom to make it look seamless. Well the momo was larger than the XF ****, so I had to cut the new shift boot to slide it over the larger momo ****, but I also had to cut several breaks in the nut and bend out the teeth so I could get the alcantara material where it needed to be. It was not something I would do again, but it turned out pretty well.
The boots some ready to roll, that is why with the new car, I went with a custom boot only and kept the OEM ****.
