Re: passanger airbag (in dashboard) mercedes partnumber?
The most current passenger side R170 SRS part number is A 170 860 07 05.
A 170 860 07 05 replaced older A 210 860 08 05 part number which replaced the oldest A 210 860 04 05 part number.
The previous two bags were used in the R170 as well as the W210 (E-Class) chassis and the A 170 860 07 05 part number came out after the W211 chassis came out so I can understand why they changed it's chassis designation. In my opinion, I think it would work just fine in the Crossfire. It worked in the SLK's and in the W210 E's (which it doesn't take a lot of research to see that they are two completely different cars so it's not like they made it specifically for the SLK). Don't quote me on that but I'd be confident enough in their performance in our car just the same as one that Chrysler buys from Mercedes and slaps a Mopar sticker on. I can't tell you one way or the other on what you should do but I will bet that when you go to replace the deployed one, you'll find one of those three part numbers on it.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
