Default Re: Shuriken Light Weight Battery Kit

i actually thought the battery went in sideways when i bought mine. after trying it it was obviuos you had to install it the way you have it. so i added a few washers under the mount nut and it tightened it up fine. i also had to shave the space between the neg. terminal were the bolt tightens so it would tighten enough not to come loose.
i would like to see a way to mount the battery sideways at the positive end of the battery box to allow a meth container install in the same area.
i dont drive my car much and without a float charger the battery is dead within a week. with the float charger i have no problems but the drop in amp hrs from 72 to 20 is significant if you dont drive the car everyday

les how about a pice of 3/4" plywood the size of the bottom of the battery box with the center routered out 1/4" the size of the battery? that would allow it to sit in a cradle and painted black almost unnoticable
