OK. I got back from Philly last night around 10 and decided what better than to re-install the ECU in my xfire.
I did the following steps and will summarize the information I found.
1. Reinstall ECU. Remember to mark the cables 1,2,3,4,5 when removing.
2. Turn key to 'on' position but do not start car, let go for a couple minutes. You can hear ECU working.
You can what hear the electrons flowing in the ECU? This is no home computer where you can hear the Hard Drive Churning. Any noises you hear are not from the ECU, more likely the fuel pump other components under the hood.
