Well, given this opportunity... How about using that material you use and make it the dimension of the OEM Batt. to be placed on the base, and routed out w/ the CNC (can it do that?) to receive the Shuriken Batt. so it fits like a baby in the cradle. This is in addition to the piece you already supply for the top, because it helps spread the load out over the top. This would be quite clean and I'm guessing pass any battery integrity inspection.
