Perhaps; but like Rob mentioned, a "frame" or a floor imho would accomplish both securing the bottom of the Batt. w/ the rubber floor,cushioning it and also provide a cleaner/sanitary install. Seeing the stock Batt. floor w/ the Shuriken installed just doesn't look right. My vote would be for a rubber "floor" to cover up the OEM floor, if possible. Bob
