Yes, great cars and wish they had an interest in the U.S. market so we could also get our hands on them. Again though I think it comes down to a why the Ferrari sounds so good...higher winding engine with a decent full exhaust system (i.e. headers, tubing, etc).

Driving the base Crossfire as a loaner I can tell you it sure seems like a slug and a muscle car it is surely not...so my 2'cents would be to have a local exhaust shop fit you with an exhaust system you like (they can trade out mufflers during the process without having to actually install the muffler to give you an idea of what the system would sound like and then you could pick the one that fits your tastes) while saving you 1/2 the money of a Borla exhaust muffler in the process...
