Great Lakes Brewing has an excellent restaurant near downtown. Slyman's for their world famous corned beef sandwich. Can you see a trend? We had out-of-town friends visit last summer (the key being summer) and we toured Amish country with them and hit a few of the attractions listed on the TripAdvisor website. There are dozens of wineries within 90 minutes of Cleveland. There really are a lot of things to see and do in Cleveland. Honest. I'd love to get together sometime while you're in town.
