I have the hard gray line under the battery tray that seems to be "eaten". When I installed my 14 lb. battery I found a mouse nest underneath the tray and after cleaning it out, the eaten line. (by mice, I believe) You know what? I still haven't investigated where it goes and what it does. I'm thinking cruise control or something like it that I've never used. Otherwise I would have noticed something not working ..... right? Rats, time to go check it out now that I've been reminded.
