I'm on a boat!
Well I'm not, but the car is. Shipped the car out of New Orleans last week for Germany. Hope it arrives safe!
Now to the only point of this post. I just had some extended waranty work done before shipping. I had a leaking washer fluid tank (crack on lower bottom on wheel well side) and a broke cup holder (won't stay locked down).
The extended warranty company covered the fluid tank, but denied the cup holder. The parts manager said they called it an accessory. Don't know how that matters, it is an internal failure of so sort and was hoping the full monty warranty would pick it up. I haven't had time to hash that out with the warranty company, but will get to that soon.
The price quoted to replace cup holder was $220 bucks! To convert it into a storage bin was $80 buck. I stuck with the paper wedge for now.
