The list of things I have purchased there is endless but thelast few changes have made the place a bit skunky.

It used to be much more fun.

I no longer log on daily to see what's up.
Caddymike is correct, kind of a brother pimp store.

Best to get your Crossfire stuff here from the good guys.

Like Franc, I've bought several cars, motorcycles, and other stuff via eBay. And I think it's better suited now for unloading stuff than buying (IMO). I sold all 3 of my Merkur XR4Ti's on eBay. My 86 model (original owner; low mileage) sold in 15 minutes after I listed it!

But I agree that the blanket-wide applications of common componentry, like HID upgrades, has polluted your search for meaningful items. And, like others, I've gotten to where I don't jump in every day to see what's out there. I do watch for good buys on specific items (I'm watching about 4 XFires right now). Some bidder this past week won a very nice 05 XFire Charcoal Gray Ragtop with barely 6k on the ODO. And for a fair price.

But in this thread several have shared 'tricks of the trade' in focusing a search for specific items and/or applications. These are different than the ones I've come up with for my use. I'll try these & see what comes up. Thanks!
