I replied in the other duplicate thread ... you must have missed it.

To change a tail-light bulb, forget about removing the trunk panels. Just activate the top-up-down switch until the tonneau panel is in the upright, vertical position. Stop.

Then just reach down in there and change the damn bulb!!
