Mike, I don't mind being called a soldier, all military are on the same team in my opinion (I know you're just razzing though). However...I will say I appriciate the welcome I received here as opposed to when we landed in California, I've never seen so many people call a stranger a "baby-killer"! It makes me giggle a wee bit.
Must be a California thing. When I go to the airports here in the midwest and south all I see is clapping and cheering. Also some people trade seats with my son in law a couple of times putting him in a first class seat. When I picked my son up in Indy at the airport in Dec. many people came up to him and expressed thanks for his service and such. So I say to you also thanks for your service and welcome back.
