Yeah, the pad arrived and looks very simple yet extremely functional and cool. I really wasn't expecting a solution to arrive in the mail when I posted the original question, but Bob rocked it.
1st autocross of the season is Feb 13th, so I'll post up some pics when I've got everything in. And mine is not the sideways version, just the straight away normal version.
