Helpful as always krazy! My father mentioned the same method. Anything to watch for when I'm putting the new bearing in? I'm worried about not getting it lined up properly.

The bearing comes through the front of the pulley, not the back, correct? Reverse to put the new one in?

mjgroves heres a quick way to get the bad bearing out. remove the c clip. knock out the old bearing with hammer and rod. stick the pulley in the oven at 250* for 10 minutes and the bearing in the freezer for 10 minutes. the bearing will drop right in!! reinstall c clip and your done!
