There is a clause in the terms and conditions that states if they can't fix something or if the repair will cost more than the car is worth, they just pay out and void that lifetime warranty. Not so lifetime when you think about it, especially with our Crossfire and Chrysler not stocking many of the parts we need. In fact, that may provide them an easier "out", as the price of the parts (exterior body panels, for example) will increase with ever increasing demand and lack of supply. Who knows, one day the price for a new hood or bumper may cost as much as I bought the car new. Good news is that most of those parts that are scarce (exterior body panels) rarely need to be replaced under warranty.
