WOW Im just gonna go ahead and call you a ROOKIE!!!!! 80 pounds??????????? What!!!!!! The whole rotor set weighs under that...the front rotors weigh about 23.5 pounds each in the front and about 15 in the rear.....!!
Oh typically when your upgrading your brake system your adding weight not dropping weight...unless your going with carbon ceramics!!!!!

There's no question the stock brakes are adequate, but they are absurdly heavy. The best reason to replace them is to lower unsprung weight. I dropped about 80 pounds by going to Brembo GTs all the way around.
