This is the response i got from Jerry.

"The sensor sits about 2mm away from the flywheel. When you pull or
push on the flywheel, you cause it to either move in or out. When
this happens, it will touch the sensor at some point in the rotation."


so yea i must have moved the flywheel somehow. the flywheel looks,rotates and sounds fine from underneath the car. I looked at it again. i doubt i damaged anything from just pinning it but it is a possibilty and it can be very costly. i need to get underneath and really look at it while someone tries to crank it again. Jerry said to check for wobbles. i'll make sure it rotates true before i install the sensor and wreck that one as well.
