That really is a bad idea.
You should put snow tires on all 4 corners.

If cost is an issue, the owners manual for the Crossfire recommends picking up a second set of front wheels, and mounting the stock size front tires in the rear, so this way, you can buy a full set of snow tires in the front tire size, to save on money.
