This is a great video explaining the need to not mix AS and winter tires for winter driving.
I have always been a proponent of not mixing tread patterns front and rear in dry conditions. Wonder if there is a video that shows the effects when doing so?

If cost is an issue, the owners manual for the Crossfire recommends picking up a second set of front wheels, and mounting the stock size front tires in the rear, so this way, you can buy a full set of snow tires in the front tire size, to save on money.
