My civic had one when I bought it, previous owner only had one voice coil hooked up. I hooked up both and it was powered by a 250watt Sony amp. Lasted all of a week before the driver let go. Sounded good, wouldnt when any spl contests but it added some grunt.

Only thing that bothers me is longevity. If you plan on listening loud and hard it will die on you.
