Just searched the electronic area and found Pelked1's write-up about the capacitor fix. Ordered mine and now maybe I can get the sound out from the center of my dash and into the center of my cockpit. Great info.
Before I got my car home I thought the sound was coming out of the defrost vents, the stereo system wasn't on my priority list at the time. Now that I have had the car for a week and all appears to be OK the stereo has moved to the top priority.
