Done it myself in the Dodge truck. But I didn't call AAA. Just removed the paper coffeee cup.

I am in the habit of turning the key and then pushing the clutch in til the starter engages. Seems towork no matter what shoes, boots or boondockers I'm wearing.
Now my tractor has no clutch switch.The starter button is on the floor by the tranny. Something which can be a real surprise if you step in the wrong place when filling the gas tank.
