Default Re: Crankshaft position sensor

Alright i tested the battery and its fine. i have yet to test the cps wires since i dont know how.

In a last attempt to get a resolution before i get a professional involved i will mention anything that i think might help

-When i have the car on the on position i hear a buzzing electrical sound from the engine and i have heard this before and it sounds normal, however after a few seconds i hear a couple of loud clicks coming from underneath the throttle body.(it seems likes its coming from there)

-The car is on jackstands on the front end only

-My neighbor suggested to use locktite on the crankshaft bolt so i did.

-the fan is currently unplugged so i can have easier access to the pulleys

-i have yet to check any fuses.

-i used the stock belt as the instructions stated

- should i buy another cps just in case????

-my neighbot tightened the crankshaft bolt while i pinned the flywheel. if the bolt is too tight would this cause a problem with the cps?

-FML

Thanks again for everyones help!
