-The car is on jackstands on the front end only

-My neighbor suggested to use locktite on the crankshaft bolt so i did.

-the fan is currently unplugged so i can have easier access to the pulleys

-i have yet to check any fuses.

-i used the stock belt as the instructions stated

- should i buy another cps just in case????

-my neighbot tightened the crankshaft bolt while i pinned the flywheel. if the bolt is too tight would this cause a problem with the cps?

-FML

Thanks again for everyones help!
To check the CPS you need a multi-meter for volts and Ohms. The procedure is described in section 9 page 335 of the Repair Manual.
I turned my car to on and listened and heard the buzz and the clicks, so that's OK.
LokTite? at 148lb.ft plus 90 degrees I think it's tight.
This bolt has seen serious stress and I think, I may be wrong - again, the manual says to change it every time it comes off. That's the least of your worries now though.
You did clear the codes I take it.
I am still at a loss as to the car firing at all.
It doesnt fully start. It seems like its its runnig out of fuel. The cranks turns over several times it comes pretty close to turning on and staying on and it just dies.
It fires or it does not, pretty close means it did not fire to me. If it does not fire then it can't die.
Do you mean the starter turns the engine over, or the engine turns under it's own power? I'm confused.
We have a terminology problem here.
You crank the engine over under starter power is the correct term.
Smelling gas would hint to me that it does not fire and the smell should come out the muffler mostly.
