Bullesye, i hate MB now. all their new styles suck big time, and they are having huge recalls too. those 3-valve per cylinder motors suck too. even AMG using a cheap way to get power Superchargers...
and now coming out with a minivan or a Station wagon if you want to call it that...

the new S-class copies the 7 series alot too.

my buddy has a SLK350, and its very nice thou. i am very happy to start seeing MB roll out their new motors finally. the AMG for the s-class has a awesome motor. with 503HP V8 naturally aspired. thou it is a 6 something liter.
I just like the way MB looks now better than the current line up. They killed the 5 series and 7 series. IMO I think they are ugly as sin. Especially the 5 series, looks like a wrx. They still put up impressive numbers, but I would still look else where.

I saw a new 330i just yesterday, with applied for plates. I expected worse, but I still am a fan of the E46, imo, best looking 3 series ever.

Curious as why you didn't want an M3?
