When I was asked that, I usually respond with, "Yes, I do have something better to do, but you caught my attention and here we are. Having this nice conversation. I will be right back." LOL....Vegas, someone has your number pal. Being a defense attorney can be trying at times, I am sure. I would never do that to the those I know. But, if they were doing something wrong, I would stop them. Just wouldn't write them. Pretty close knit group in this county, everyone respects one another. I have had lunch with many of the attys here, and the judges, and everyone knows their place. Maybe you need to talk with one of their supervisors if you think you are being singled out.
