Default Re: Think our oil changes are expensive ?

Hawk I'm definitely switching it out to synthetic. Thanks for the article. I first have to figure out how to get the car up in the air. I bought some inch and a half brick planks and I'm just a tad bit shy of being able to get a jack under the front of the car. I'll probably just remove the front wheels on the jack. Once I can jack the car up then I can do my own oil change. This car sits very low. I can get a jack under the back but the front is very low.
I've spent the last week going over the car and tightening things. replaced all the body mounting bolts. There are 16 of them and they were all mix matched. They all match now. Pulled the side pipes as well but broke a bolt so that has to be welded before I can send them for the new Ceramic Coating. I also have to replace the bolts where the side pipes mount to the downpipes. Those are mix matched as well. I'm thinking about sending the wheels out to just be painted for now. Once the white is gone I actually think I might like them. They are very expensive wheels and they are growing on me. Thanks for the advise guys, it doesn't go un heeded!
