Default Re: Blacked-out Coupe.

I'm not completely feeling it. I don't like the OEM wheels painted black at all. I don't like the "crossfire" badging on the back. I don't like the chrome chrysler badges, front or rear. And I'm not sure I like the blacked out door handles and side strakes.

I think your car has some potential though. Do something about the badging. Lower the car. Get some good looking, aftermarket wheels.

My car is also black and I started out wanting to black out the whole thing, but stopped just short of doing that. Instead, I wanted to make things black that I thought should be black, leave things that I thought looked good being silver. So I have a black grille, black windshield surrounds, black chrysler badges, and I removed the "crossfire" lettering from the back. I did leave the wheels silver and the handles/side strakes silver.

I will be putting on an SRT6 front bumper in the spring. Beyond that, I'd like to lower it a touch and consider some different wheels that will likely be black or gunmetal--maybe with a silver lip. Not sure on that, as it's pretty far off right now.
