I did this test when I repaired the relay and I was certain that they did not work, just tried it and they do still work. The interior lights use the BCM and the seats do not I found from the circuit diagrams.
That relay will get quite warm after a while, I could feel it get warm when I was monkeying around with it.
I'll modify my previous post.
