Nice thread so far! Lots of info. Steve has helped me a lot with my ride, and I'm running the cut SRT-6 springs. Still running stock shocks, I want to put in the Bilstein shocks soon (B8, or sport version for lowered cars) since I'm lowered roughly 35mm in front and 40mm in rear.
I will let everyone know how my car handles with the Bilstein shocks and cut SRT springs, for comparison.

Then the Bilstein B8's are your best option..by far...if money is no problem...... you can also choose for the Bilstein B16, but they are very, very expensive.
The AMG shocks I mentioned in my earlier message are part of the Nürburgring Fahrwerk, which AMG definitely doesnot sell anymore, however the separate shocks are still available and in combination with the Bilstein B6 or B8 compatible with this Nürburgring Fahrwerk, but only will lower your car 2,5cm max.
In fact all the AMG springs are made by Eibach and only differ in length, commercial reasons sometimes result in various explanations
