There are any number of items in the Security System that could be faulty or intermittent (bad switch) that could arm and trigger an Alarm.
If it was me, I would first lean towards a battery replacement (a simple move).
Then move on and change the actual Siren unit (a little harder to replace, but not a deal breaker).
A battery should run less that $100 and the Siren can be found for around $60 (US of A dollars).
A small investment before you break the bank for a BCM (or ditch the car because of an Alarm horror show)...
